Location: Lewisville, Texas - Hybrid 4 days WFH, 1 day in office per week.

Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to play a key role in our dynamic Accounting Department. In this position, you’ll take ownership of core accounting functions — with a primary focus on accounts payable — while also contributing to billing and collections, expense report reconciliation, general ledger coding , and financial data analysis .
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys working with numbers and systems, and values the importance of handling sensitive financial information with discretion. You'll work closely with a collaborative team and gain exposure to a wide range of accounting operations that are essential to our business success.
Key Responsibilities
Creating, reconciling, printing, and mailing monthly recurring customer invoices.
Assisting with customer collections and provide customer billing support
Daily cash applications – associate payments received with open invoices in NetSuite
Accounts payable bill management (to include electronic bill and check copy scanning and filing, approvals, etc.) and preparing Journal entries.
Accounts payable bills and expense report GL coding
Printing and mailing checks and managing check stock
Expense report review and processing (within Certify and NetSuite)
Ensuring proper document and file management for accounting items
Assisting with procuring information for annual audit and issuing 1099s.
Helping with other assigned accounting tasks or special projects
Balance sheet Reconciliations including bank reconciliation.
Additional ways you will be contributing to an administrative capacity:
Primary responsibility for electronically filing all sales orders, SOPs (standard operating procedures), and other customer documentation in the appropriate electronic customer file
File, organize, and maintain sensitive documents such as: Stockholder files, Stock Certificates, Board and Shareholder communications, Shareholder contact information, banking information, 401(k) information, and benefits information
Assist with annual shareholder meeting (meeting correspondence and maintaining/updating shareholder contact information)
Support executives with expense report and healthcare FSA (Flexible Spending Account) documentation and submittal
Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university REQUIRED . Other areas of study will not be considered, ie: Finance, business, tax accounting, etc.
1-3 years of general accounting experience, primarily focused on accounts payable REQUIRED
Experience with Adobe writer/editor preferred
Experience with NetSuite preferred
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (and other Microsoft products)
