OUR PURPOSE AND CULTURE
We are driven to create a future where people and place enrich one another. We are wholly committed to rooting ourselves more deeply in every place we are in while setting new benchmarks for positive impact.
As a pioneering collective with a common purpose, we curate extraordinary moments and honor the soul of every place along our journey. At Rosewood Hotel Group, we answer The Calling. Together, we Make the Place.
THE TEAM
The Corporate Finance team at Rosewood Hotel Group provides financial leadership and strategic oversight to hotel operations across Asia Pacific. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role partners closely with the VP of Operations, Regional Vice Presidents, and Directors of Finance Business Partners (DFBPs) across the region. The team is committed to driving profitability, maintaining financial integrity, and identifying opportunities for growth and operational excellence.
YOUR ROLE
As Director, Operations Finance, AMER, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of our hotels across the region. You will lead a team of Area DFBPs and provide functional leadership to Directors of Finance Business Partners in each property, ensuring alignment with Rosewood’s strategic goals and financial standards. Your insights and leadership will support operational decision-making, enhance owner relations, and drive performance across multiple properties. This role is deeply embedded in our regional leadership structure and is key to delivering long-term value for both Rosewood and our ownership partners.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
· Champion a culture of business partnering across hotel and corporate teams to drive optimal operating performance and returns, while ensuring KPI’s are achieved.
· Lead the financial planning process including annual budgets, capital budgets, and rolling forecasts in collaboration with operations and hotel leadership.
· Analyze financial performance, challenge strategies, and recommend improvements to enhance business effectiveness.
· Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and variance analysis to regional and corporate stakeholders.
· Support ownership relations by participating in meetings, responding to initiatives, and ensuring alignment with agreements and policies.
· Establish the timeline and procedures, and lead the preparation of the annual budget, capital budgets and the rolling forecasts in conjunction with the VP Operations, RVPs, MD’s and Hotel DFBPs.
· Have a fiduciary responsibility for ensuring properties within the region are reporting in compliance with the Uniform Chart of Accounts, RWHG Policies & Procedures, ownership and bank documents and hotel management or other contractual agreements with respect to accounting matters.
· Oversee capital tracking and fixed asset management across all hotels in the region.
· Drive implementation of corrective action plans based on audit and operational reports.
· Lead succession planning and talent development for finance leaders across AMER hotels.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
· You bring over 10 years of experience as a Director of Finance, with a proven track record across multiple hotels or business units in the Americas region.
· You hold a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent, and possess deep financial acumen, paired with strategic thinking and a drive for results. CPA or MBA preferred.
· You thrive in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment and are adept at influencing stakeholders across diverse cultures and geographies.
· You’re a connector—building strong relationships with hotel teams, ownership groups, and corporate colleagues with integrity and respect.
· You’re adaptable and resilient, embracing change and driving innovation in financial processes and systems.
· You lead with purpose, empowering teams, developing talent, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard – and valued. We’re a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We’re not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them – and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
