Cosmetology Instructor - Remote | WFH

We are seeking passionate and experienced Cosmetology Instructors to join our team! In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of aspiring cosmetologists, guiding them to develop the essential skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers. As a Cosmetology Instructor, you'll inspire students to reach their full potential while providing both theoretical and hands-on training in a dynamic and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach both theoretical concepts and practical techniques in various areas of cosmetology, including hair styling, cutting, coloring, makeup application, skincare, and nail care.
Develop and deliver lesson plans that are both informative and engaging, ensuring that the curriculum aligns with industry standards and student needs.
Demonstrate hands-on techniques in a classroom and salon environment, helping students build real-world experience.
Offer individualized guidance and support to students, addressing their unique challenges and helping them overcome obstacles.
Evaluate student performance through practical exams, assignments, and ongoing assessments to ensure skill development and mastery.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and progress, ensuring that all documentation is kept organized and accessible.
Stay informed about the latest industry trends, techniques, and regulations, ensuring that the curriculum is current and relevant to the evolving beauty landscape.
Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged and empowered to succeed.
Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to enhance the overall student experience and foster a team-oriented atmosphere.
Engage in professional development opportunities to continually improve your teaching methods, staying on top of best practices and industry advancements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the cosmetology industry.
A valid cosmetology license in the state in which you teach.
A current instructor license is required.
Expertise in hair, makeup, skincare, and nail care techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, colleagues, and industry professionals.
A genuine passion for teaching and helping students achieve their goals.
Strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of students.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to keep records and documentation accurate and up to date.
Flexibility to adapt to changing curricula and industry needs.
Previous teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
Proficiency in basic computer skills.

Work Schedule & Availability: This position offers both day and evening shifts, with the possibility of a partial work-from-home or remote schedule.
