Nursing Director Inpatient Services

Sunnyvale, TX

Full-Time | Leadership Role

Base Salary: $115,000 $145,000 annually

We are seeking an experienced Nursing Director Inpatient Services to oversee clinical and operational performance across key inpatient units, including Med-Surg/Telemetry, ICU, and Cardiac Specialty Unit (CSU) .

This role is responsible for driving patient safety, quality outcomes, staff development, and operational excellence , while aligning departmental goals with overall organizational strategy.

• Provide leadership across multiple inpatient units
• Oversee clinical, operational, and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical standards
• Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Manage staffing, productivity, and departmental budgets
• Support and develop nurse managers and clinical staff
• Collaborate with executive leadership and physicians
• Address patient and family concerns in a leadership capacity
• Promote evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
• Lead staff education, training, and professional development
• Assist in policy development and performance improvement initiatives

• Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License (must be home state)
• Bachelor s Degree in Nursing (Master s preferred)
• 3 5+ years of acute care leadership experience
• Strong background in ICU and Med-Surg/Telemetry
• AHA BLS & ACLS required
• CPI certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
