Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you’ll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll Do
  • Support the sales team in managing existing accounts and building strong relationships with new customers
  • Assist in identifying sales opportunities within assigned territories or customer segments
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and in-person visits to prospect new clients
  • Prepare and deliver sales quotes and product recommendations with oversight from senior sales staff
  • Input and maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems
  • Coordinate with operations, logistics, and fulfillment teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services and materials
  • Stay informed about current construction projects, industry trends, and competitor activity
  • Attend industry trade shows or networking events as needed to promote brand and build connections
  • Assist in the preparation of sales reports and forecasts
  • Follow up on open quotes and customer inquiries to close pending opportunitiesWhat You'll Need
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or construction-related roles preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to travel locally to customer sites and job locations
  • Familiarity with construction services or materials (steel, concrete, rebar, etc.) is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a bonusYour Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelors degree preferred
