What is Cohost?

Cohost is an ‘outside the box' catering and rental company located in Deep Ellum that has been bringing unrivaled hospitality with food from Dallas' favorite restaurants to your home, event site or office, providing everything our clients need to cohost any event stress free. What is the position?

Our daytime ‘delivery manager' position involves delivering and setting up delicious food with first class hospitality in the metroplex's iconic high rises, amazing event spaces and beautiful homes for breakfast and lunch. At night we offer that same first class service while we turn it up with our full service events - from cocktail parties and dinners to full service weddings and corporate outings. Life is never boring at Cohost!

What would make you a good fit?

• your good driving record & a valid Texas driver's license

• understanding of basic buffet set ups
• passion for service and food
• high school education or equivalent
• food handler's certification or willingness to obtain
• preferred 1-2 years in restaurant or catering
• your own car to get to work and occasionally use for small deliveries

What's it going to be like?

• Shifts vary between 2-5 hours and will be available for breakfasts, lunches and early dinners.
• The position can be year round with the highest volume of available shifts in September-December and April-June.
• The position is an independent contractor position.
• This position requires bending, lifting and carrying equipment with lifting 30-50 pounds.

How much does it pay?

• Training at $15 an hour (approximately 4 shifts). After training $18 per hour to start

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport food items to various locations.
• Load and unload food products, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to scheduled routes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
