Interim Accounts Payable Specialist
Up to $35/hour | Contract through October 31, 2026 | Immediate Need
Vaco is partnering with a valued client seeking an experienced Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to provide immediate support during a department transition. This role requires a hands-on AP professional who can manage high-volume invoice processing while bringing ideas for process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Process 800 invoices per month
- Perform 3-way matching and invoice reconciliation
- Partner with operations and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
- Support AP workflow improvements and department initiatives
- Maintain accurate records using SharePoint and AP systems
Qualifications:
- 3 years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience
- Strong 3-way match experience
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP)
- Experience with SharePoint
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a changing environment
Preferred:
- Coupa experience
- Knowledge of taxability status and sales tax processing
