We are seeking a New Accounts Permit Clerk to join our team! We are looking for someone to join our team and provide administrative support. The successful candidate will be responsible for filing, data entry, answering phones, and other general office duties. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, dependable, punctual, focused with strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This candidate is to be reliable, friendly, and professional with excellent customer service skills.
- Responsibilities:
- Manage the full permitting lifecycle—from initial application through to final approval & close outs
- Submit permit applications across multiple jurisdictions using various methods (online)
- Collaborate with PM, Management teams to compile and submit accurate, compliant permit packages
- Monitor timelines closely—track permit progress, proactively follow up, and keep Owners well-informed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local and state licensing requirements
- Identify potential obstacles early, troubleshoot effectively, and maintain project momentum to avoid costly delays
- Make, Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Assist PM to Log, track, sort all incoming deliveries
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning
- Other small duties as assigned
- Qualifications:
- Familiar with Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fast learner include adaptability, active listening, resourcefulness, and strong communication
- Fluent in English & Spanish ("basic understanding")
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Ability to read and understand proficiently in English
