Communications Manager

Are you a strategic communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves creating clarity, connection, and impact through messaging? WREIN is looking for a Communications Manager to lead our event communications strategy and ensure a seamless, engaging experience for our virtual event registrants.

In this role, you’ll guide end-to-end messaging across all communication touchpoints — email, SMS, and phone — and manage a blended team to support registrants with excellence. If you're passionate about clear communication, customer experience, and collaborative leadership, this may be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do:

Lead Registrant Communications

• Own and execute the communication strategy for all virtual events

• Ensure all messaging is timely, clear, on-brand, and supportive

• Drive engagement and reduce tech confusion through strategic outreach

• Manage pre-event, during-event, and post-event communication flows

Manage Internal & External Teams

• Lead a blended team of internal staff and external partners

• Oversee inbox management, FAQs, live event support, refunds, and more

• Maintain clear schedules, team coverage, and a collaborative work environment

Monitor & Report on Performance

• Report on key event metrics and registrant engagement

• Use data and feedback to refine communication strategies

• Update SOPs and workflows for clarity and consistency

Collaborate Across Departments

• Work closely with internal teams to align communication with technical and marketing efforts

• Ensure a seamless registrant experience from start to finish

• Act as the bridge between customer-facing messaging and internal systems
