Shipping/Receiving Coordinator Needed ASAP
Contract to hire
Great Cypress location – 77066
$18 hourly
Responsible for shipping and receiving duties to support Production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare production for shipping.
• May require the building of shipping pallets, containers, wrapping, and labeling.
• Protect critical areas such as flanges with protectors.
• Secure to pallets or containers with straps or bands.
• May assist in the paint department or perform touchups on paint.
• Notify truck lines, air freight, etc. to ship goods to customer/vendors or pick up needed goods for production.
• Collection of documents, or any document associated with product to turn into appropriate departments after shipping/receiving.
• Support inventory control when necessary.
• Will require the operation of cranes and forklifts.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs (use cranes for heavier weights)
EDUCATION
High school education with three (3) to five (5) years of experience and/or demonstrated ability.
