Overview:
A highly skilled and strategic professional to lead our Non-Qualified Mortgage (Non-QM) initiatives. This role will be responsible for underwriting Non-QM loans, creating proprietary Non-QM products, expanding our investor network, and ensuring efficient loan packaging and delivery to secondary investors. Additionally, the individual will oversee the implementation of I-9 citizenship mortgage loans as part of our company-wide expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite all Non-QM loans, ensuring compliance with company standards and investor guidelines.
- Develop and implement an in-house Non-QM mortgage product tailored to market needs.
- Identify, onboard, and vet additional Non-QM investors to expand our lending capabilities.
- Oversee the packaging and delivery of Non-QM loans to secondary investors, optimizing loan performance and investor satisfaction.
- Lead the implementation of I-9 citizenship mortgage loans, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
- Manage company-wide projects related to Non-QM lending strategies, collaborating across departments to drive success.
Requirements
Position Qualifications:
- Proven experience in mortgage underwriting, particularly within Non-QM loan products.
- Strong knowledge of Non-QM guidelines, secondary market investors, and loan structuring.
- Expertise in mortgage product development and investor relations.
- Familiarity with I-9 citizenship mortgage loan processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
