Dispatcher Needed ASAP

Temp-to-Hire | South Houston (77075) | $18–$20/hr + LOTS of Overtime

Looking for a fast-paced opportunity where every day is different? We're seeking a Dispatcher to join a busy operations team supporting 70–80 drivers daily . This role is perfect for someone with a strong sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to work with drivers in a high-volume environment.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a huge plus! Military experience is highly valued but not required.

Schedule

• Temp-to-Hire
• South Houston (77075)
• Day shift (currently 12-hour shifts)
• Monday–Saturday
• Training provided

Responsibilities

• Support dispatch operations for 70–80 drivers on daily routes
• Monitor route completion and driver check-in activities
• Track drivers and communicate updates in a timely, professional manner
• Gather, maintain, and organize route documentation
• Manage work orders, tickets, and data entry with a high level of accuracy
• Follow up on route exceptions and communicate issues to management
• Provide customers with appointment updates and estimated arrival times
• Deliver outstanding customer service via phone and email
• Train and assist other dispatch team members as needed
• Maintain accurate records and support daily dispatch operations

Qualifications

• Previous dispatch experience preferred; strong office administrative experience will also be considered
• Thick skin, confidence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of urgency with excellent follow-up and attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• Basic to advanced computer skills with the ability to learn new software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
