Escrow Officer (or Senior Escrow Assistant) Granbury, Texas
Escrow Officer with or without a book of business – or a Senior Escrow Assistant that has front to back experience and ready for next step.
Key Responsibilities
- : Open and close escrow, manage the entire process from contract to closing.
- Document Handling : Prepare, review, and obtain signatures on closing documents (deeds, statements, instructions, loan docs).
- Financial Management : Deposit earnest money, verify all funds received, and disburse payments for payoffs, liens, and closing costs.
- Title & Compliance : Perform title searches, clear title issues, and ensure adherence to lender and legal requirements (RESPA, FHA).
- : Act as a liaison, communicating with clients, agents, lenders, and title companies.
- Coordination : Schedule closings, obtain insurance evidence, and coordinate signing appointments.
Essential Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and industry software
