Quality Assurance Technician
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor production processing through random quality audits.
- Perform and support quality inspections using proper equipment and techniques.
- Conduct statistical analysis on processes and report findings.
- Participate in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results.
- Verify raw materials and outgoing products meet required specifications.
- Ensure production personnel follow correct procedures for quality checks.
- Support training of operators in QA procedures and measurement techniques.
- Develop and maintain quality procedures and work instructions.
- Audit compliance with quality management system standards.
- Generate and present quality reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Perform additional duties as directed by quality management.
Experience Required
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a lead, technician, or inspector in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Prior experience enforcing standard work instructions (SWI), SOPs, and product specifications.
- Hands-on experience with measuring equipment and statistical analysis tools.
Skills & Certifications
- Strong knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Strong mathematics and statistical analysis skills.
- Knowledge of quality criteria, inspection standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Eligibilities & qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline (mandatory).
- Physical ability to perform job requirements, including lifting/carrying and prolonged standing/walking.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.
