Position Overview

The Area Maintenance Technician supports multiple club locations by ensuring all equipment and facilities are operating safely and efficiently. This role plays a critical part in delivering a positive member experience through preventative maintenance, repairs, and quick response to facility needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair gym and exercise equipment
• Perform facility inspections and execute preventative maintenance programs
• Identify and address potential safety hazards
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Communicate and document maintenance issues using our computerized management system
• Complete repairs efficiently and follow up on outstanding work orders
• Travel between multiple club locations within the assigned market
• Maintain professional interactions with members and team members
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Provide excellent customer service
• Be proactive, dependable, and willing to go above and beyond

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must own a personal set of tools
• Comfortable traveling between locations
• Strong communication skills
• Organized and self-motivated
• Previous maintenance, mechanical or repair experience required
• Willing to train the right candidate on fitness equipment
