- Preparation of corporate tax returns and ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
- Preparation of year-end and quarterly ASC 740 calculations.
- Forecasting and planning on a monthly basis to ensure the company's financial stability and growth.
- Utilizing Alteryx for data blending and advanced data analytics.
- Researching and planning according to current tax laws and to optimize tax payable.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure tax practices align with the company's financial management strategy.
- Assisting with the implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and risks.
- Ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax forms.
- Providing support in financial decision-making processes by providing expertise and guidance in tax matters.
- A minimum of 5 years of tax experience with a focus on corporate taxation.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in the process of obtaining.
- Proficient in ASC 740 and experienced in its preparation for year-end and quarterly calculations.
- Strong experience with Alteryx and knowledge of OneSource OTP and OIT.
- Excellent understanding of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations.
- Proficient in tax forecasting and financial planning on a monthly basis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and produce relevant conclusions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and ability to multitask.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and critically.
