Senior Heavy Equipment Operator – Drive Precision and Growth with Dynamic Site Solutions

Job Overview:

• Company: Dynamic Site Solutions
• Salary/Pay Rate: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour plus Performance Based Bonus.
• Location: Buda, Texas (with 30% travel within the local area).
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
• Project Scope: Residential and Commercial Civil & Heavy Construction.
• Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Drivers License.

The Opportunity:

You will take command of advanced machinery to execute vital earthwork and site development projects across Central Texas. This role empowers you to influence project profitability directly through efficient operations and expert civil plan interpretation. How You Will Make an Impact:

• Execute precision excavation, rough grading, and finish grading to meet strict production timelines.
• Interpret complex civil construction plans and grading profiles to eliminate costly errors before digging.
• Maximize daily machine efficiency to minimize equipment idle time and avoid project rework.
• Inspect and maintain assigned heavy machinery daily to ensure optimal field safety and performance.
• Mentor junior operators and field laborers to foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Partner with survey crews using GPS machine control technology to achieve exact elevation targets.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of heavy civil construction equipment operation experience.
• Proven mastery operating hydraulic excavators, dozers, motor graders, and skid steers.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately read and execute civil construction plans and profiles.
• Strong communication skills required to coordinate effectively with site Superintendents.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Over 5 years of dedicated experience in underground utility excavation or mass grading.
• Hands-on proficiency with Topcon, Trimble, or Leica GPS machine control systems.
