A-rated Regional Carrier is looking for the next Production Underwriter to join their team.
- 3+ years of commercial underwriting experience; multi-line experience is a must.
- Meet with agents to discuss their needs and tell them about your products, which are small to mid-commercial lines.
- Work closely with marketing and claims staff and agent contacts.
- Evaluate risks and recommend risk improvements.
- Growing A-rated company that offers work-life balance and excellent benefits.
- Very little turnover.
- You are not a number but an asset to this group.

- This role’s primary functions focus on growing premium and policy count.
- They truly want you to field underwrite.
- If you work inside now but want to get out, they will consider you; also would love a person already in the field.
- Develop and cultivate a new business pipeline of profitable risks for each agency and producer to be reviewed and quoted.
- Primary decision maker for setting premium on new business opportunities.
- This is remote for people in Dallas, Houston, or Oklahoma City only.
