Resumption of Care and DME Specialist
Overview
This position will be calling hospital and rehab/nursing facilities and working with them to receive any documents or signed orders needed to resume home health after hospitalization. Once items are received, will be responsible for uploading the documents to Kinnser. This position will also be working with members of the marketing team as they also assist in retrieval of signed documents from their referral sources.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Attaching documents into Kinnser in a timely manner.
- Calling hospital and rehab/nursing facilities to follow up on patients and/or documents needed.
- Emailing our staff regarding hospitalization.
- Document all communication into Kinnser.
- Faxing order request to physician’s offices and medical records request to hospital or rehab/nursing facilities as needed.
- Faxing medical equipment orders to DME companies

Job Skills and Education
Skills: A basic knowledge in healthcare setting is a plus. General computer skills and email knowledge. Being a self-motivator, excellent customer service skills, being pro-active, the ability to multitask, being a problem solver, and the ability to prioritize is a must.
Education: High School Diploma
