Job Opportunity – General Medicine Provider – Illinois

Location: Marion, Illinois
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: PRN basis, 1 day per week; flexible half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) options
Highlights:
- Perform compensation and pension exams and separation health assessments for Veterans
- Primarily interview-based exams with physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities required
- Non-treatment, one-time examinations focused on evaluation and documentation
- Quick credentialing and onboarding process
- Must have own office space within 50-mile radius to see Veterans
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted Illinois medical license
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or General Medicine background
- AANP certification required
- Proficiency in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
- Must own a laptop (Windows-based, no Mac/Apple products)
- Willingness to complete DMA training and certification
- Own office space with ADA-compliant facilities required
- Experience with compensation and pension exams preferred
- Self-Query NPDB completed within 30 days
