Your Role

• Performing thorough assessments on patients, initiating diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, collaborating with physicians or independently (as allowed by your credentials)
• Informing patients and families about preventive measures, wellness, and management of diseases
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatment plans within your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic care management initiatives

• Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records in electronic medical systems (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
