Job Title: Field Engineering Supervisor
Location-Type: Onsite (Richardson, TX) with up to 75% travel
Start Date Is: 2 weeks post offer
Duration: Permanent
Compensation Range: $110,000 – $120,000 base up to $16,000 annual bonus
Job Description:
Supervise and support a team of field engineers delivering telecom infrastructure installations nationwide, ensuring project quality, performance, and scheduling.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Manage and mentor 5–7 Field Engineers

Oversee workload, deliverables, and travel schedules
-
Evaluate quality of installation work and provide coaching
-
Collaborate with project managers on deployment timelines

Coordinate training and development efforts
-
Serve as a client-facing lead to represent the team on-site
Requirements:
-
Must-Haves:
-
3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role (5 direct reports)
-
5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry
-
Hands-on experience with telecom equipment installation
-
Familiarity with DC power systems and Cat5 terminations
-
Working knowledge of network infrastructure: outside plant fiber, data centers, colo spaces

Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage all levels of stakeholders

Prior experience in client-facing field roles

Exposure to vendors like SynchroNet, CBM, Iron Systems, Glow Networks, or Ledcor
