Truck Body Painter / Body Technician
Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Remove grease, dirt, paint, or rust from vehicle surfaces in preparation for paint application, using abrasives, solvents, brushes, blow torches or sandblasters
- Tape vehicle for painting
- Buff/Polish
- Properly mix paint so that they spray evenly and consistently
- Clean Guns
- Advises Body Shop Manager if additional work is needed.
- Maintains safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices.
- Complete daily paperwork.
- Repair unibody structural damage
- Replace and repair body panels
- Replace damaged wiring harnesses, or reinstall harnesses after body repair
- Remove and reinstall interiors
- Dry box repairs
- Reefer box repairs
- FRP repairs on Box trucks
- Performs work as outlined on repair order
- Communicates with Parts Department to obtain needed parts
- Advises Body Shop Manager if additional work is needed
Truck Body Painter/ Body Technician Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record , CDL a plus
- Good verbal, listening and written communication skills
- 3 years MINIMUM experience Painting and/or Body Repairs in a Diesel Truck Body Shop setting
- Ability to problem solve in an efficient and effective manner

- Must be at least 18 years of age
