Concrete Foreman
- Supervise all phases of concrete installation, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
- Must understand basic concrete principles such as concrete mix designs, admixtures, curing, cold and hot weather procedures for concrete placing and finishing, formwork systems, as well as concrete calculations for pours. Monitor and enforce compliance with project specifications, drawings, and safety regulations.
- Must be able to interpret and act off the project schedule and effectively communicate changes as they arise
- Must be able to understand a budget and control field cost in accordance with the budget
- Must be able to affectively teach and train foreman and crew leaders at lower levels
- Develops project plan along with Project Manager and drives project milestones
- Provides day-to-day direction on-site to project resources and ensures the project teams are provided with the resources and support that enables the teams to reach their goals
- Ensure effective management changes occur throughout the course of the project
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale pipeline projects.
- Strong knowledge of concrete installation techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must have working knowledge of common MS office programs
