OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Garland, TX by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Based in Garland, TX, HMD is seeking experienced OTR solo CDL-A dry van drivers to haul freight nationwide. Drivers run consistent long-haul routes with competitive mileage pay starting at 65 CPM, access to modern trucks under 3 years with APUs, inverters and sleepers, and dependable in-house maintenance support. Home every two weeks and performance bonuses reward safe, reliable driving.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safely operate dry van equipment on OTR lanes and meet delivery schedules.
• Keep accurate logs, inspection records, and paperwork (IFTA, BOLs).
• Monitor vehicle condition and report service needs promptly.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable driving experience.
• Strong safety focus and professional conduct on long-haul trips.
