Maintenance Technician

Summary: Performs equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and new equipment installations, as needed, to support the facilities and the manufacturing of consumer pressure washers, generators and water pumps.

Location: Mesquite, TX 75149

Schedule : 1st Shift Mon-Sat 6AM- 4:30 PM

Pay rate: $16

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet equipment uptime goals; communicate with engineering and production teams.

• Troubleshoot and repair:

  • Pneumatic/hydraulic systems (seals, hoses, valves, cylinders, pumps).

  • Mechanical systems (motors, chains, belts, conveyors, rollers, bearings).

  • Electrical systems (3-phase power, AC/DC drives, PLCs, circuits, switches).

• Use digital multimeter for diagnostics.

• Install electrical components (conduits, disconnects, breakers, fuse/junction boxes).

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specs.

• Support metalworking and fabrication projects from start to finish.

• Maintain accurate records and update maintenance logs.

• Recommend improvements and cost-saving measures.

• Safely operate shop tools (saws, welders, torches, grinders, etc.).

• Participate in safety and emergency response programs.

• Provide backup support to other departments as needed.

Requirements:

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills

• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented

• Safety-focused with process improvement mindset

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Education & Experience:

• Associate degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering Tech preferred

• High school diploma with related experience considered

• 1-2 years in a maintenance role in manufacturing preferred

• Electrical Apprentice/Journeyman license a plus

• Forklift and bilingual (Spanish) skills are a bonus

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, lifting

• Exposure to machinery, moving parts, extreme temperatures, and uneven surfaces

• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
