HR Generalist
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead employee hiring/contractor conversion efforts to ensure continuity in workforce requirements
- Contribute to employees' professional development and embrace the talent strategy by supporting the identification and assessment of the best talent as well as ways to support and develop our people
- Facilitate and lead learning initiatives across the site.
- Partner with other functions to provide resources to develop our teams
- Facilitate and lead the various initiatives for digital connectivity for our hourly associates
- Maintain positive employee engagement by focusing on listening strategies to gather feedback and provide coaching to leadership teams on solutions for improvement.
- Lead employee activities, employee recognition programs, career development, and communication forums.
- Lead DE&;I (Diversity, Equity &; Inclusion) Committee at the site
- Lead community involvement with local schools and colleges to improve employer branding and talent acquisition efforts.
Skills:
- Must have domestic mobility (international mobility a plus!)
- Strong leadership skills: collaboration, communication, influence, drive for results, effective planning &; prioritization, and project management
- Strong verbal and written communications skills working in a manufacturing setting
- You must be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and matrix environment
- Previous work in a manufacturing environment and enjoy partnering with line and unit managers is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel, as well as ability to manage digital systems to analyze data
- The role requires on-site support with flexibility to support multiple shifts, and work remotely 1 day per week
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, or other related discipline with 2+ years’ experience in HR generalist area
