Support our busy breakfast service by keeping dishes, cookware, and kitchen areas clean, organized, and ready for use. Early-morning shifts and a fast pace. 8am-4Pm
Key responsibilities:
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans per health standards
- Operate and maintain dish machine; perform 3-compartment sink procedures as needed
- Keep dish area, floors, and trash/recycling stations clean and organized
- Sort and restock clean wares to proper stations; polish glassware/silver as needed
- Collect and transport bus tubs; assist with light bussing during rushes
- Maintain chemical concentrations and temperature logs
- Break down, clean, and set up stations before/after service
- Assist with basic prep, linen handling, and inventory of cleaning supplies
- Follow food safety, allergen, and sanitation guidelines (ServSafe standards)
Qualifications:
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred; not required
- Able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Team-oriented with strong communication in a fast-paced environment
Physical requirements:
- Stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely
Schedule:
- Primarily early mornings (e.g., 8 a.m. start) 4; weekends required
Compensation and benefits:
- Hourly pay based on experience; eligible for tips/meal discounts where applicable
