Landscape Construction Field Supervisor
Green Teams, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Landscape Construction Field Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth execution of landscape construction projects by overseeing field crews, coordinating equipment and materials, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. Responsibilities
- Schedule field crews and assign tasks based on project requirements and crew strengths.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager (PM) to address scheduling conflicts and ensure project timelines are met.
- Determine and allocate appropriate equipment, trucks, and trailers for each project; communicate needs and conflicts to the PM.
- Review project drawings and collaborate with the PM to ensure all necessary materials are available; order materials as directed.
- Monitor project schedules, key dates, estimated completion times, and man-hour budgets in coordination with the PM.
- Oversee the quality and productivity of active projects, addressing issues promptly and involving the PM as needed.
- Provide feedback and training to crew leaders and workers to support their professional development.
- Participate in regular performance reviews of landscape construction staff and help resolve workplace disputes, involving the PM when necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience in landscape construction or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret project drawings and schedules.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Familiarity with construction equipment and materials is a plus.
