What qualifications you will need:

• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education/Skills

  Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred. BSN will be required within 3 years of employment. Ability to perform as scrub tech during delivery required within 1 year of employment. Professional Nursing Organization membership encouraged.

  • Experience

  Minimum of two years' experience is preferred.

  • Licenses, Registrations and/or Certifications

  RN license eligible to practice in the state Texas;

  BLS required from an HCA approved vendor;

  NRP and ACLS within first 90 days of hire.

  Specialty Certification Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) is required within 6 months after becoming eligible and maintained. AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring is required until eligible for C-EFM.
