Night Shift - 2 charge nurses, 21 RNs, 4 Surgical Techs, 1 OR Aide, 1 Secretary
Patient Ratios 1:1/2:1 laboring, 2:1 APU, 2:1 PACU
Type of equipment Hill-Rom birthing beds, Alaris IV pump, Client core metrics FM, Panda warmer, CADD Solis epidural pumps, NOVI wireless FM
EMR CPN (centricity), Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring
BLS, ACLS, NRP
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
OR Circulation for Cesarean Sections
Placement of FSE and IUPC
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Sections, PACU recovery.
Antepartum care/testing, Continuous Electronic Fetal Monitoring
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
Scrub Color - Royal Blue
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
Pitocin and Cervical Ripening Policies/Protocols
Magnesium Sulfate, Hydralazine, Labetalol Protocols
