Commercial Roofing Service Technician

Responsibilities
- Investigate and diagnose commercial roof leaks across various roofing systems
- Perform quality repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial roofs
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls
- Conduct roof inspections and condition assessments
- Document work performed with detailed notes, photos, and material/labor records
- Communicate professionally with property managers, facility managers, and customers
- Maintain safety and quality standards on all job sites
- Support operational initiatives and assist with inspections as needed
- Collaborate with the sales team to help develop customer relationships and identify new opportunities
- Represent Global FM with professionalism and integrity in the field
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of commercial roofing service experience preferred
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and diagnose roof leaks
- Experience with TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR, Metal Roofing, Coatings, and Restoration Systems strongly preferred
- Advanced leak investigation and repair skills
- Ability to read and understand work orders and scopes of work
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and strong work ethic
- Commitment to safety practices and jobsite awareness
- Mechanical aptitude and desire to learn and advance
- Service foreman or crew leadership experience is a plus
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification and manufacturer certifications are a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Compensation
