Director Integrated Marketing
- Drives strategy, budget and execution of all paid media, owned and earned media (PR, Social Media, Paid Media, Shopper Marketing, Events, Experiential Marketing, Corporate Social Responsibility, and more)
- Builds and executes a full year marketing plan across owned, earned and paid channels.
- Builds and executes strategies that drive meaningful engagement and retention of B2B and B2C target audiences.
- Oversees partnership portfolio (sponsorships) and makes timely recommendations to maximize ROI back to the Brand.
- Works heavily with Brand Management, Digital Marketing. ECOM and Western teams to collaborate on new campaigns and media measurements.
- Develops attribution modeling strategies to analyze effectiveness of integrated marketing executions.
- Analyzes customer and audience insights to translate them into marketing, community development, and/or growth strategies.
- Trains and educates the team to further strengthen the bench strength of the Integrated Marketing team.
- Proactively mentors and provides timely coaching to elevate talent, identify high potential employees and develop succession plans for organizational readiness.
- Develops a defendable and unique brand identity and personas for house of brands.
- Leads an internal creative team and multiple external agencies to plan, manage, and oversee the execution of content which includes shopper marketing plans, digital media, experiential marketing, and more
- Works frequently with professional sports teams and universities to grow audience size.
- Effectively recaps efforts, analyze, and measure the effectiveness of executions for senior leadership team(s).
- Defines digital strategy and partners with Ecommerce team to drive history-making ecommerce sales with thorough working knowledge of driving brand success via Amazon
- Works heavily with sales, operations, legal, customer care, HR, communication teams, operations and other departments.
- Leads strategy for B2B and B2C marketing campaigns to drive product line growth in support of brand strategy
- Drives influencer strategies that increase share of voice and drive trial/purchase intent
- Market Research - Identifies market research needs and works closely with Insights and Business Intelligence teams
- Coordinates communication across enterprise impacting brand and is single point of contact for all crisis communication and corporate communications.
- Oversees philanthropic strategy and ensures effective execution according to plan
- Responsible for building, developing, and retaining talent necessary to drive a high-performance team to support the company's short term and long term strategic plans.
- Ensures succession planning is in place.
- May be asked to perform additional duties as necessary
- Bachelor's Degree (4-year degree) is required in Business, Marketing, Journalism or related field required. MBA preferred.
- 10+ years marketing experience working directly with a CPG brand required.
- 10+ years integrated marketing experience accountable for all paid, owned and earned media
- 5+ years in a senior leadership position.
- Experience with Community Coffee, even if unrelated, may fulfill experience requirements at the discretion of the hiring manager with approval from Human Resources.
- Deep media experience with a direct-to-consumer brand in a high growth stage with food and beverage experience or related CPG experience.
- Must have track record of delivering significant ROI by making wise marketing investments.
- Must be media trained and extremely comfortable in front of the camera performing live interviews.
- Must be able to speak in front of large audiences
- Must have experience working with sports sponsorships.
- Must have corporate communications background with ability to not only lead direction but write communications when needed
- Working directly with beverage and or food consumer brand(s) is highly desired, but not required.
- Must have excellent proven leadership skills
- Must have excellent project management skills with direct experience leading large scale product launches and rebranding projects
- Must have experience leading agencies and managing large budgets across several teams
- Proficient in MS Office required
- Experience developing effective influencer marketing programs
- Ability to deliver effective creative input and prioritize projects with Creative Services team
- Strong financial acumen required
- Expert knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
- Self-motivated professional able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform under stress and adapt well when confronted with emergency or escalating situations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and root cause analysis experience
- Frequently required to sit
- Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
