The Turn Technician prepares and maintains all outgoing and incoming equipment for new and completed rentals. This position is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the yard and keeps the rental equipment organized to minimize customer wait time.

Essential Functions

• Prepare equipment for rent by cleaning with a power washer
• Ensure proper PPE apparel is worn while in the yard
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment
• Fuel and meter equipment upon check-in
• Record fuel logs and other information
• Stage equipment for deliveries
• Maintain proper yard organization
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the yard
• Ensure all rental equipment is properly tagged and has required key
• Make small deliveries/pickups to client site and/or retailer using a pickup truck when requested
• Prepare and checkout all equipment for outgoing rentals

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have good organizational and communication skills
• Must be customer service orientated
• Valid State issued Driver's License
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision - Self-Motivated

Military service will be considered in lieu of education/certification experience as applicable.

• Environment is consistent with that of a construction environment and equipment yard
• Outdoor exposure to elements

Travel Required

• May require traveling for training classes/seminars
• May require driving to various vendors to acquire parts for assigned repairs

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Must be physically able to work in extreme conditions.
