We focus on providing outstanding customer service in clean, modern, convenience stores, gas stations, and truck stops across the United States.
We are looking for an Assistant Manager to ensure all daily activities run efficiently and smoothly. Assistant Manager responsibilities include ordering equipment based on our needs, managing contracts and payroll and supervising staff performance. To be successful in this role you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes great customer service. Ultimately you will help optimize operating cost, boost our employee retention and deliver a positive experience for our guests.
Requirements:- Collaborate with the general manager to oversee and manage overall store operations.
- Perform daily administrative and clerical tasks such as handling cash transactions, ordering supplies, and opening and closing the store.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to support store operations during opening, production, and closing, including weekends and holidays.
- Assist in supervising and training employees, including creating work schedules.
- Ensure smooth store operations by enforcing security, audit, and control procedures.
- Monitor sales transactions to ensure adherence to proper procedures.
- Manage staffing levels within budgeted payroll expenses, including hiring, training, and termination of associates.
- Maintain a well-organized and equipped store environment.
- Provide customer assistance and address complaints effectively.
- Execute opening and closing procedures as required.
- Supervise and assist in training, coaching, and developing associates.
- Coordinate with corporate office on store-related matters.
- Drive sales and manage expenses to meet targets.
- Assist with merchandising activities as needed.
- Handle cash transactions and authorize register functions.
- Adhere to Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service through direct interaction.
- Receive and manage shipments.
- Perform routine store maintenance tasks such as garbage disposal, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and organizing the stock room.
