Home2 Suites by Hilton - Maintenance Specialist

We are looking for a Maintenance Specialist to join our hospitality operations team. In this role, you’ll help maintain the property’s appearance, functionality, and safety — ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and comfortable stay.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with hands-on experience in building systems, equipment repair, and general maintenance within a hotel or hospitality setting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair hotel facilities, guest rooms, and public areas to ensure everything is in top condition.

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.

• Respond quickly and efficiently to maintenance requests and ensure guest satisfaction.

• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and record completed work accurately.

• Monitor tools, parts, and supplies; report needs or shortages in a timely manner.

• Support engineering and operations teams in renovation and improvement projects.

• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and company maintenance standards.

• Coordinate with housekeeping and front office teams to ensure minimal guest disruption.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Engineer, or Facilities Associate in a hotel or related industry.

• Good understanding of basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair minor equipment and fixtures independently.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.

• Trade or technical certification in maintenance, HVAC, or a related field preferred.

• Familiarity with property management or maintenance software (e.g., Opera , HotSOS ) is an advantage.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or holidays as required.
