Duties and Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Manage and maintain all production orders within the Scheduling Workbench.
- Produce Work Order Job Packs, release Oracle work order picks and ensure that work orders are closed in Oracle on a timely basis.
- Prioritize and schedule orders based on due dates, capacity, and material availability.
- Allocate components and resources necessary to execute production orders.
- Provide timely order status feedback to sales/Technical Repair Specialists.
- Proactively resolve late or at-risk orders and communicate status updates to Sales Associates and the Technical Repair Specialist team.
- Ensure scheduling data is accurate, current, and aligned with production realities.
- Coordinate workflow and shop floor priorities to ensure customer delivery commitments are met.
- Identify production constraints, hold points, and root causes impacting delivery performance.
People Leadership & Development
- Directly supervise valve repair personnel and ensure accountability for results.
- Assign, track, and ensure timely completion of required PS Learn training courses.
- Conduct regular check-ins and quarterly performance discussions with employees.
- Ensure all employees are trained and qualified per the training matrix and safety requirements.
- Foster teamwork, engagement, and continuous skill development among employees.
- Ensure Timesheets are submitted and approved on time in UKG.
- Timely completion of annual reviews.
Quality Management
- Drive continuous improvement program
- Oversee QMS initiatives
- Monitor QA/QC process
- Oversee customer inspections
- Monitor customer requirements to ensure compliance
- Maintain calibration records for shop equipment
- Responsible for scheduling of maintenance on all machinery.
Inventory Management
- Ensure all negative inventory is returned to Receiving daily.
- Partner with inventory control and receiving teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and audit-ready assembly shop environment.
- Measure and monitor weekly inventory-related performance metrics.
Safety Responsibilities
Understand and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations, policies and procedures, which includes but is not limited to:
- Instructing workers to follow safe work practices and safety policies and procedures
- Correcting unsafe acts and unsafe conditions
- Enforcing personal protective equipment requirements
- Ensuring that employees complete safety training by due date
- Reporting and investigating all injury, accident, or near-miss incidents
- Oversee clean housekeeping initiatives. Provide training and direction as required.
- Inspecting work area and taking action to minimize or eliminate hazards
- Conducting weekly safety meetings
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with experience interpreting basic assembly drawings (P&ID), work instructions, and bills of material.
Experience/Skills
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including experience with mechanical or assembled products.
- Previous leadership or lead experience in a production or assembly environment strongly preferred.
- Strong computer and information management skills, including familiarity with Oracle ERP or scheduling systems and Microsoft Office applications.

- Familiarity with valve automation processes and principles including use of General Engineering Drawings (GAD), Schematics and Wiring Diagrams.
