A well-established diesel service center that inspects, diagnoses, and repairs commercial vehicles, semi-trucks, buses, RVs, and heavy-duty trucks—helping customers get back on the road fast.

Role Overview

The Service Advisor connects customers with the shop team. You’ll handle check-ins, prepare repair estimates, schedule jobs, track progress, and ensure quality communication from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

• Greet drivers, fleet reps, and owner-operators; record vehicle info and service needs.

• Create accurate repair and parts estimates.

• Explain recommendations clearly, focusing on safety and cost-effectiveness.

• Schedule work, track status, and update customers on progress or delays.

• Work closely with technicians and the parts team to manage repairs.

• Handle check-in/out paperwork, billing, and payment collection.

• Maintain organized records and a clean service area.

• Promote maintenance plans, inspections, and tire programs.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and DOT standards.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).

• 2+ years of experience as a service advisor or in a related automotive/truck repair role.

• Knowledge of diesel engines, trailers, and DOT requirements.

• Experience with fleet billing and systems (COMcheck, EFS, ARI, etc.) a plus.

• Strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills.

• Professional, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Work Environment

• Primarily office-based with some time on the shop floor.

• Frequent interaction with drivers and fleet reps.

• Exposure to typical shop noise and equipment.

• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods and assist during vehicle hand-offs.
