Located at the DFW Airport, in this role, you will:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Site Warden is an experienced authorized person who has been designated by the Person in Charge to monitor the work group and ensure that they stay within the designated safe working area perimeter. ​

  The Site Warden requirements are: ​

  • to have completed and passed the General Wayside Safety Training and Site Warden Training. ​

  • to understand the risks and hazards associated with the task that they are overseeing ​

  • to ensure that LOTO procedures have been completed with locks in place and that other control measures such as barriers and signs are effectively in place before work begins. ​

  • to have no other duties. ​

  The Site Warden oversees personnel during Wayside work activities and is responsible for the safety of personnel performing work activities on the Wayside. ​

  The Site Warden is the absolute safety authority over the work group. ​

  The Site Warden does not participate in work activities and must not be distracted while overseeing the work group to include passing tools or conversing with other personnel etc.

The employee occasionally may be required to climb steep stairs and walk long distances. Work on elevated surfaces is required. Work may be performed inside the facility or outside in various weather elements.
