•Same-day appointments for selected urgent cases The combination of digital imaging, ultrasound and in-house laboratory capabilities allows veterinarians to perform efficient diagnostic workups and maintain continuity from initial presentation through treatment and follow-up. The Opportunity As an Associate Veterinarian, you'll manage a broad general practice caseload while working alongside an experienced clinical team. Responsibilities will include: •Providing comprehensive wellness and preventative care
•Diagnosing and managing medical conditions
•Developing individualized treatment plans
•Performing routine soft tissue surgery
•Providing comprehensive dental care
•Interpreting digital radiographs and diagnostic results
•Utilizing ultrasound where appropriate
•Managing selected urgent care presentations
•Providing care for avian and exotic patients depending on experience and interest
•Managing chronic and senior pet conditions
•Educating clients on preventative healthcare and treatment options
•Maintaining accurate medical records
•Collaborating closely with technicians and veterinary assistants
•Participating in case discussions and supporting hospital clinical standards Doctors interested primarily in canine and feline medicine can maintain a traditional small animal caseload, while those with an interest in avian or exotic medicine will have opportunities to develop this area further.
