Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
Are you a Senior Full Stack Engineer who thrives in complex, fast‑moving environments and loves owning features end‑to‑end? If so, read on!
About UsIf it’s high-stakes, high-security, or highly complex—Oxalis is built for it. We’re a consulting and technology partner for the organizations that keep the world running: life sciences, shipyards, government agencies, health systems, aerospace programs, and manufacturers with missions too critical to fail. We serve the people behind the mission—those building, healing, defending, and delivering where it matters most. As a Platinum Solution Partner for Atlassian and a trusted systems integrator for IFS, we specialize in secure cloud transformation, IT service management, ERP modernization, and operational strategy—especially for organizations navigating compliance-heavy environments and complex change. About You
You’re a senior full‑stack engineer who thrives in modern, fast‑moving environments and wants meaningful ownership from day one. You break down user problems with curiosity, ask the right questions, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions across a TypeScript stack—from data models and REST APIs (with CQRS/event‑driven patterns) to clean, intuitive UI polish. You’re comfortable guiding architectural decisions, strengthening security and reliability in high‑stakes domains, and contributing to a thoughtful, healthy engineering culture. You’re also curious about emerging AI technologies and use them to explore ideas, prototype efficiently, and elevate your daily workflow. Required Skills
- Proven track record of professional software development experience.
- Expert‑level TypeScript/JavaScript across frontend and backend.
- Strong experience with Vue.js or similar frameworks.
- Backend experience with Node.js, REST API design, and event‑driven patterns.
- Deep PostgreSQL expertise, including query design and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with distributed systems or asynchronous job processing.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Interest in or experience with offline‑first or local‑first architectures.
- Hands‑on use of AI tools in real development workflows.
- Comfort operating autonomously in fast‑moving, ambiguity‑heavy environments.
- Pragmatic, iterative approach to shipping and refining software.
- Growth‑oriented mindset and openness to new tools and patterns.
- Experience with PowerSync, ElectricSQL, PouchDB, or similar sync technologies.
- Exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, or AI‑agent orchestration frameworks.
- Familiarity with Keycloak, OAuth, SAML, or enterprise authentication systems.
- Experience with Graphile Worker, BullMQ, or similar job queues.
- Experience using pgvector or vector search for semantic search.
