Corrugated Packaging Industrial Maintenance Technician

Pro Services, Inc. has a direct hire opportunity in Waco, TX for a leading corrugated packaging manufacturer. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks on plant equipment, including diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This role is essential in ensuring the operational excellence of the plant, contributing to the company's mission of delivering high-quality packaging solutions. Technicians will work in a team environment, focusing on preventive maintenance and responding to breakdown calls in a production setting

The ideal candidate would have 6+ years of maintenance experience in the corrugated industry. Their experience should ideally include working with BHS equipment. Being comfortable working with electrical systems is a must have. The right candidate should be a team player who is ready to learn and is willing to do what is needed to help get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.
• Respond to breakdown calls in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
• Work collaboratively as part of a maintenance team in a production environment.
• Participate in training to develop multi-craft skills and advance through skill levels.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Must have experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry
• BHS equipment experience strongly preferred
