Journeyman Electrician
Journeyman Electricians – Claude, TX
$35-$40/hr + $178/day Per Diem
We are supporting a large-scale data center electrical construction project in Claude, TX and are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians for long-term industrial infrastructure work. This project is actively ramping and requires electricians who are comfortable working in a high-security, compliance-driven environment with significant manpower demands. Journeyman Electricians will perform industrial electrical installation work including running and installing EMT and rigid conduit, bending conduit using hand and electric benders, and pulling and routing wire of various sizes. The role also includes installing electrical enclosures and supporting the installation of field instruments such as pressure transmitters. Electricians must be proficient with standard electrical tools and power equipment including drills, saws, and other tools commonly used in an industrial construction environment. Experience with cable tray installation, terminations, stainless steel pneumatic tubing, and material coordination is considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and run EMT and rigid conduit systems
- Bend conduit using hand and electric benders
- Pull, route, and terminate electrical wiring of various sizes
- Install electrical enclosures and associated hardware
- Support installation of field instruments (e.g., pressure transmitters)
- Perform basic electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting
- Read and work from electrical drawings and specifications
- Follow all site safety, security, PPE, and compliance requirements
- Comply with strict access control, timekeeping, and bussing procedures
Required Qualifications
- State-licensed Journeyman Electrician
- Minimum 6 years of electrical experience
- OSHA 10 certification required
- Large-scale industrial or commercial project experience
- Strong experience with EMT, rigid conduit, and industrial wiring
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to pass on-site Day 1 cheek swab drug test
- Ability to comply with high-security site access and mandatory bussing requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Data center or high-complexity industrial electrical experience
- Termination experience and rigid conduit highly preferred.
- Cable tray installation and terminations
- Stainless steel pneumatic tubing experience
- Multi-craft industrial experience

- Rotating 50 / 60 / 60-hour workweeks
- Duration: Long-term project with peak ramp through May and ongoing needs
- Pay Rate: $35-$40/hour (Journeyman) & $32-$35/hour (Apprentices)
- Per Diem: $178/day
- Work Environment:
- High-security data center site
- Mandatory bus transport from remote parking
- Strict PPE and site compliance
- Fully MSP-controlled timekeeping and compliance
