As a Therapy Technician, you will assist the licensed Physical/Occupational Therapists and/or licensed Physical/Occupational Therapist Assistants in select phases of patient treatment. You will assist in maintaining a clean, safe and functional department compatible with optimum patient care.

You will set up therapy treatment and assist therapists with patient care. You will treat patients in an appropriate manner according to their age, developmental age, educational needs, and family/guardian expectations as related to the patient's diagnosis. You will monitor the department inventory, including patient supplies, linen, office supplies and copied materials, and notify appropriate personnel when any need to be replenished. You will clean and maintain equipment, including returning equipment to appropriate location after treatments, removal of dirty linen and disposal of any debris.

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Licenses and Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
