Job Skills / Requirements
TriCorps Security is hiring professional and motivated Armed Level III Security Officers to join our team at transit centers throughout the El Paso, Texas area. Applicants must hold a valid Texas PSB Level III License (Armed Security Officer) and demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and sound judgment.
This role is based in a public transit environment and focuses on maintaining the safety and security of passengers, staff, and facilities through vigilance, communication, and proactive response. Officers will work closely with local law enforcement and transportation personnel to ensure a secure and welcoming environment for all.
Responsibilities
- Monitor transit areas and access points to ensure a safe and orderly environment for passengers and staff.
- Conduct regular patrols of transit platforms, facilities, and surrounding areas to deter and detect potential threats or unsafe conditions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and service calls.
- Manage access control and enforce safety and security protocols across transit properties.
- Maintain clear communication with local law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary.
- Provide a visible and professional security presence to deter criminal activity and promote public confidence.
- Conduct safety and security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Assist in implementing procedures that enhance the overall safety and efficiency of transit operations.
- Document all incidents, observations, and activities accurately and completely.
- Support management and client directives to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Schedule & Work Environment
- Positions available across multiple transit locations in El Paso, Texas.
- Full-time (40-hour work week) and part-time positions available.
- Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Certification Requirements (Any)
TX PSB Level 3 Armed License
