Job Summary:

Billy Hicks Georgetown LLC is seeking a Full Time friendly, energetic, and dependable Host/Barista to join our team. This hybrid role combines the warm hospitality of a host with the skill and attention to detail of a barista. You will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, preparing coffee and other beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. In addition to your primary responsibilities, this role will also occasionally require you to serve as a cashier in the front of the house, managing customer transactions, and assisting with guest service during peak hours. 

Requirements/Responsibilities:

As a Host: 

• Greet guests with a positive, friendly attitude 

• Manage the seating chart and waitlist effectively 

• Coordinate with servers to ensure smooth seating transitions 

• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area 

• Provide guests with menus and answer basic questions about the establishment 

As a Barista:

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages to company standards 

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee/bar area 

• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed 

• Provide excellent customer service on time 

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations 

As a Cashier (Front-of-House):

• Operate the POS system to accurately process customer orders and payments 

• Handle cash, credit card, and mobile transactions responsibly 

• Provide receipts and correct change as needed 

• Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items or promotions 

• Support overall front-of-house operations during busy times 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a host, barista, or cashier is a plus but not required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

• Ability to work Morning’s, Mid-Shifts, and Nights Monday – Sunday

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift to 25 lbs

• Frequent bending, reaching, and walking
