Qualifications and Skills

• Health and Safety Compliance (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated expertise in enforcing and adhering to safety standards across all production processes to ensure a safe work environment for all personnel.
• Equipment Maintenance: Extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to maximize uptime and reduce operational disruptions.
• Inventory Management: Advanced skills in tracking and managing raw materials and finished goods inventory, ensuring timely availability for seamless production flows.
• Production Planning: Proficiency in scheduling and organizing production runs, optimizing resource use, and minimizing waste within manufacturing operations.
• Technical Documentation: Strong ability to prepare, update, and maintain detailed records, manuals, and process documentation to meet regulatory and operational standards.
• Lean Manufacturing: Solid knowledge and implementation of lean methodologies to enhance efficiency, eliminate waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Problem-solving Aptitude: Proven effectiveness in identifying root causes of production challenges and providing actionable, lasting solutions in high-pressure environments.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate machinery, ensuring optimal performance while adhering to safety and quality standards in every aspect of production.
• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime and maintain productivity targets.
• Plan, organize, and execute production schedules, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements.
• Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures in compliance with industry and regulatory guidelines.
• Implement lean manufacturing initiatives to drive process improvements and cost reductions throughout manufacturing operations.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products, coordinating with procurement and logistics for seamless workflow.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians and operators, promoting a safe and efficient work culture in line with organizational goals.
• Identify areas for process enhancement, initiate corrective actions, and report outcomes to senior management for strategic decision-making.
