Summary

Baylor College of Medicine/Christus Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to lead the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care program as Medical Director. As a member of the leadership team, this candidate will be an integral part of the expansion of our Heart Center, which includes cardiology, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, and cardiac surgery services.

The ideal candidate will have sub-specialty certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine or Pediatric Cardiology with at least 5 years of clinical experience in complex cardiac care, a history of demonstrated leadership, and a strong commitment to clinical excellence.

Job Duties

This position will also need to further the development of our cardiac intensivist program and play an integral part in collaborative effort. The position includes an academic appointment at Baylor College of Medicine, with academic rank commensurate with experience and performance.

Minimum Qualifications

• M.D. degree
• Related experience required
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (or eligible for same).
• Appropriate Board certification/eligibility
