Within the Surgery service line, the Nurse Manager of Surgery will lead across the operating room, OR, and inpatient surgery settings inside within a 200+ bed specialty hospital dedicated to providing a focused and highly collaborative surgical environment. As the Operating Room Nurse Manager, oversee peri-operative operations supporting high-volume surgical procedures, with strong physician engagement and a team-centered culture. The hospital is recognized for its Level IV designation and offers exposure to complex and specialized cases. This Manager of Surgery role provides the autonomy to drive quality, patient safety, and team development while building your leadership career within a well-supported system.

Reporting to a seasoned Director of Peri-operative Services or Chief Nursing Officer, the OR Nurse Manager will be supported by charge nurses, clinical educators, CNOR-prepared leads, sterile processing partners, and highly engaged anesthesia and surgical teams. As the Operating Room Nurse Manager, responsibilities span block utilization and OR throughput, regulatory readiness and accreditation, staffing and scheduling, supply chain and capital planning, performance improvement, infection prevention, surgeon relations, onboarding and precepting, and elevating patient experience.
