IT Operations Support Specialist

ChampionX is seeking an IT Operations Support Specialist to support the Woodlands, TX business location. This is an integral role for our IT customer support, network systems and hardware maintenance and deployment.

Our IT Operations Support Specialist. are the first line of help when customers encounter problems or defects with products and programs. They will manage their service management queues, answer telephone inquiries, respond to emails and perform in-person support sessions. They must be customer focused, professional, have good judgement, clear communication skills and the ability to help others are integral qualities.

What Will You Do:

• Assists client day-to-day functionality and efficiency
• Provides IT support for desktops, printers, peripherals, telephone systems, and cellular devices
• Configures, installs and maintains complex software systems
• Monitors server backups and manages MS updates
• Manages and supports server applications
• Identifies, manages and resolves issues in a timely manner
• Manages projects successfully on time and within budget
• Manages and supports video conferencing hardware and software solutions
• Responds to customer requests effectively and communicates with them to address issues
• Updates user information in an organizational system
• Updates user access for given IT applications for new and current employees
• Completes other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent and fewer than two years of experience
• Ability to respond to clients' varied and fluctuating needs
• Strong communication skills
• Should possess a sound judgment when resolving system, hardware and software problems faced by the clients
• Must be customer focused, professional, and the ability to help others

• CompTIA A+ Certification
• CompTIA Network+ Certification
• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• MCSA: Windows 10
• MCSE: Desktop Infrastructure
• VMware
